Scuba Steve's Season Kick-Off Track Day
Location: Bandimere Speedway
Date: Friday April 2nd 2010
Time: 9am-4pm
Rainout date: Friday April 2nd 2010

~All cars and motorcycles slower then 7.50 are welcome
~All vehicles must past tech, NHRA rules will apply
~Both lanes will be open
~Gates open at 8am
~Spectators are FREE

Cost is $90 with a max of 80 cars. Payment will be CASH at the gate, first come first serve. Please no more PayPal Payments.

Your car has to pass tech and can't go faster then what it's tech'd for or you will be told to stop running. If this happens obviously there is no refunds, just like any other T&T day.

Gates open at 8am so please get there early to get your tech card or to be added to the list. Thanks!

So you run 10's? Last year Bandi was letting people run without roll bars as long as they didn't go faster then 11.0. No guarantees but that's how it was last year.

Best run last year was 11.43 @ 123 with a DA around 7500.

This year I might pulley down as well as improve the airflow to the blower which might give me a few more ponies.

It's cool to hear that they weren't kicking people off.

Yeah, at the Pepsi night they even announced over the intercom that if you run quicker then 11's you need a roll bar, not 11.5. I ran a couple 11.3's that night and they didn't say a word. I don't have a cage either. You should join us

Nice run, Steve.. What do you shift at? I wish I could make it through the traps w/o going into 4th, but I am making my 3-4th shift at 100. Although, this is on street tires and I don't go to far before I hit 3rd gear as I'm spinning. Will be nice to see how it will pull in first and second and see how much ground I can cover with some et streets on it.

It's a lot different then my STi that I had to shift into 5th at the 1/8. I shift at about 7200 and through the traps in 3rd at about 7300. I wish I had gears in this thing, I think 3.90's would be perfect but $2k for gears is a little ridiculous so I'll just make due. 62mph in 1st is what kills my 60fts. I'll probably be shifting at 7k this year so I'll be hitting 4th at the 1000ft, we'll see if it makes a difference on my ET/traps.
