Here is my turbo build from earlier this year. It's my 2007 Chevy Silverado. We decided to build this one my factory 5.3 was cratered due to a failed new and "improved" comp 918 valvespring. This was all fabricated by my best friend Tyler Scruggs (nitrous injected) and it really turned out awesome...The frame is very filthy in most of the pictures but it has since been cleaned :D

The log. Made of 2.5" stainless and an SDPC header flange

The setup consisted of
5.3 motor
02 LS6 cam ground with a 112LSA
LS6 yellow valve springs
Head studs
stock 706 heads
Ebay turbo
3"D.P. to 4" exhaust with 4" dynomax bullet
Meth Kit
60# injectors

The setup ended up making right at 650rwhp with 17# of boost, 22* timing and LOTS of meth! it was a blast to drive

What size turbo? Do you have the tune file for this?

it was an ebay turbo. 66mm with a .92ar i believe

yeah i still got the tune saved somewhere

Are you planning on taking it to Bandimere next season? Also what tires do you have or will have?

Yeah I'll prolly take it to bandimere. It no longer has this setup anymore though. We sold the kit to help fund a twin turbo LSx s10 drag truck build.

The tires I'll be runnin on this black truck are Hoosier 28x10x15 D06 compound slicks

If you dont mind me asking... How much did that cost to do? And can you post pics of the S10 your doing?

I had a little over $1k in the materials to build the kit minus injectors and gauges and meth kit. I bought everything off eBay except the header flange which was bought from sdpc. Turbo, wastegate, BOV, intercooler, stainless steel bends, mild steel bends all were bought off eBay.

In some of the pics there is a pipe coming off the back of the exhaust manifold on the turbo manifold. How did the exhaust spool the turbo and not just go down the exhaust pipe on the back side?

There was a crossover pipe from the driver side manifold that connected to log manifold via vband clamp

So all of the drivers side exhaust went into the turbo as well? the exhaust went behind the engine and into the back side of the pass side exhaust manifold?
