ok I need the length of the block front to back and the length from widest point on the heads across. also all lsx and truck motors have the same basic dimensions correct. I have been doing some searching and throughly confused is the lq4 and the 4.8 really that different in size that it would not be comparable to a older sbc. the blazer forum I am on made it sound that the lq4 was a monster compared to the 4.8 and I am really confused since damn near all the components can be interchanged. plz help me as I have a buyer for the 4.3 and this would put me at the opportune time to drop a lsx setup in whether a 4.8 or 6.0.
