You can put a Stroker Crank in there, but you need a 3.905" Bore for a 383. Can't go that big. If you go with the standard 5/1000 hone in the cylinders you're looking at a 364 ci.

If its a aluminum 5.3 you can bore it to a 3.903 and run a stroker crank.
The aluminum 5.3 have much thicker sleeves.

Guess the others guys missed it but you gain nothing by using a 6.0 crank in a 5.3. They both share a 92mm (3.62" stroke). As stated, you can purchase a stroker crank for the 5.3 but to get 383 cubes, you need a stroker crank with a 4" stroke AND a bore of 3.9" which I believe all 5.3s can be bored to.
