Does anybody have any leads, connections, or tips for good paying jobs? Looking for something full time perferred.
I have lots of time in management, warehouse, retail, and mechanical.
I am willing to travel up to 30 miles one way.
Any help in this is much appreciated and I can send a resume and cover letter.
Desperatly needing something fast before I loose my car, house and who knows what else.

Don't hold out for the job that might fit your experience or pay that you expect, as it is always easier to find a job when you have one.
Go get one and flip burgers, stock some shelves, etc. This will take some pressure off of you, get some cash flow in and then you can start looking for jobs that are out there.

I get that but unfortunatly I have put in applications at burger joints for shit pay, but the problem that im finding is since I dont speak spanish all the managers that run the joints pass me over for hispanic individuals. Looks like I will have to drive far south to find what im after....

Matt, what about looking to get into one of the construction trades....Electrical, Plumbing,
Trim Carpentry, HVAC, Painting?
Places are still hiring, they are alot more selective now, it's all about who you know.
I would bet that more than a couple Fire / Water damage restoration companies are hiring.
Belfort, co-cat, service master, Blu Sky, Interstate, this time of the year water pipes break lots of places are busy.

If this helps, go to O'Rielys website for job carreers. The are looking for warehouse and managers for the new location. This warehouse is looking for 10 managers. Its going to be runnining 24-7. I work part time for them at checker/O'reilys. Call the store at tower and hampden. They need drivers. Last resort go work up the hills in blackhawk or central city.More money in Blackhawk. I use to valet and make 100.00 to 150.00 in tips plus hourly workin 4 10 hour shifts. Thats about $800 a week or more. That was in 2000. Money is still there. I have a bank job and if I lose it I'm going back temporarly. Hope that helps.
