You could do it the same way that LS1.com does it for their calender. You would send a photo to the administrator (you, moderator or whoever you appoint), then you would post the pictures as a poll, and let everyone vote. I guess you could keep the poll open for a week or two with a closing date.

Something like that would work.

BTW do you know how to set up the pictures to use ajax instead of coming up on a whole other page? Would be another nice tweak.
Also you should make a favicon for the site. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Favicon

Ill try to create a favicon. If you guys can create a favicon post it up as well. Will look to see if theres an Ajax feature...
