Just wondering if anyone in the Northern Colorado area has some expertise/tools in painting. I'm in the process of paying off my 2,000 dollar 99 z28 =D and it needs some love. The friend that I am purchasing the car from has done some prep sanding but with my minimal knowledge in this area I have no idea if its any good. I'll be using my tax return (about 500 bucks) and some extra cash from the side to buy all the supplies. So anyone need a weekend project? There will be a case of beer in it for ya  and i'll try to help as much as I can. Also, if your looking for compensation with cash, I'll try to scrounge some together. By the way, this will probably be happening around April. Please don't make me go to macco! I can't allow the car to sit outside with nothing covering it's naked-ness!
Thanks in adavance!

Is it sanded and primed, or just sanded?

Its been roughed over maaco style. Also, the front bumper and fender are aftermarket and in "casting" black. I think I can handle the sanding with the help of a friend however, I don't feel at all comfortable taping or doing the actual spraying.

Thanks alex, I know how you feel lol. I have read millions of posts on the subject trying to figure out the best way to do it and I still feel mystified by the concept lol.
